Previously known as Hemant Sahai Associates.

After a short lived merger with litigation firm Paras Kuhad Associates as ‘PHA Advocates’ from October to December 2009, the firm is again operating on its own. Both firms had suffered the loss of a number of partners in the preceding months, and Hemant Sahai's Mumbai office was left severely depleted. Lateral hires will be necessary to rebuild.

Infrastructure has been the firm’s flagship practice, although it is currently building strength in corporate. It already has a credible PE practice, but is not well known outside this.
